In 1957, working with director and writer, Fred Ladd, it began marketing Russian animated films from the 1940s and 50s, especially those of the famous Soyuzmultfilm studios (well-known titles included The Firebird, The Frog Prince, Beauty & the Beast, The Space Explorers, and Twelve Months).

Producer Norm Prescott employed Ladd to help reformat a 1965 Belgian animated feature Pinocchio dans le space, which was released theatrically by Universal in late 1965 as Pinocchio in Outer Space.

A 1937 German short film on the future of space travel Weltraumschiff 1 startet was acquired, and the special effects sequences were excised by Ladd.

The New Adventures of Gigantor

Fred Ladd and the TMS animation studio converted the series into The New Adventures of Gigantor and had it broadcast on America's Sci-Fi Channel from September 9, 1993 to June 30, 1997.


Dub localization

One series in particular, Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, was given two heavily localized English dubs in the form of Battle of the Planets from Sandy Frank, and G-Force: Guardians of Space from Ted Turner and Fred Ladd.
