Following that decision, a 11–12 June 1938 a congress of the new federation of SFIO was held in Thiès.

At that meeting it was decided that the African federations would break with their French parent organisation and form the African Socialist Movement (MSA), an independent Pan-African party.

Twenty-one Conditions

During the December 1920 Tours Congress of the French Section of the Workers' International (SFIO), the 21 conditions were rejected although the majority, led by Fernand Loriot, Boris Souvarine, Marcel Cachin, and Ludovic Frossard, adhered to the Third International, creating the French Section of the Communist International (SFIC), which would later take the name of the French Communist Party (PCF).

War Resisters' International

War Resisters' International was founded in Bilthoven, Netherlands in 1921 under the name "Paco", which means "peace" in Esperanto.
