Southern exposed roof is covered by PV panels and ground floor spaces are protected by the main overhanging volume containing a restaurant pavilion.

The whole façade system was conceived through the analysis of exposure and solar radiation and integrated with three glasshouses on the eastern side incorporating vertically moving curtains.

The lot is defined by three waterways: the hydroelectric power station intake canal and the Po and Sangone rivers.

Among Scoppa's main works is Bice led to the Castle of Rosate, a painting inspired by the novel by Tommaso Grossi about Marco Visconti, a 14th-century condottieri, and awarded a gold medal at an exhibition.
