Their last full performance was for their friend George Kovari at Rhyl Pavilion.
It was confirmed that Violet lived in a care home in Rhyl and was 102 when she died.
Announced in April 2007, the tour ran from 22 October 2007 in Rhyl and ended on 1 December 2007 in Belfast.
However, during the voyage mechanical problems caused the crew to dock at Rhyl for repairs.
From 1851 until 1854 it operated lifeboats at Lytham, Rhyl, Portmadoc, Tenby, Llanelly, Teignmouth, Hornsea and Newhaven but it was subsequently agreed that it would be wiser if one organisation concentrated on rescuing lives at sea while the other helped the survivors or their bereaved families ashore, so in 1854 the Society transferred its lifeboats to the RNLI.

It was founded in September 1965 to serve the Catholic population of the surrounding area, including towns such as Rhyl, Rhuddlan, Abergele, Prestatyn, Bodelwyddan, St Asaph, and Denbigh.
In the 1913–14 season, they achieved the North Wales Coast League and Amateur Cup double, winning 15 of their 17 league games and beating Colwyn Bay 1–0 in the final at Rhyl.
On 30 May 2011, Wales International and Sheffield United player Ched Evans and another person were arrested on suspicion of the sexual assault of a woman in Rhyl, Denbighshire, following an incident at a Premier Inn in Rhuddlan on the same day.
Rhyl had been losing finalists to Cardiff City in 1930 and Crewe Alexandra in 1937, but did not feature in the final again until 1993, when they lost 5–0 to Cardiff City.
In 1965 there were 56 seabirds sailing regularly, mainly at Trearddur Bay (24 boats), Abersoch (21 boats), 6 boats at West Cheshire Sailing Club on the Mersey and single boats at Holyhead, Rhyl and Conway, although Cormorant, number 9, was being used as a fishing boat out of Liverpool docks.
Like many clubs, however, Welshpool wished to become a full member of the WRU, and was granted membership in the early 1990s, initially competing against teams from all over Wales in Divisions 7 and 8, before becoming a part of the new North Wales league structure, in which they competed in the North Wales Division Two alongside teams such as C.O.B.R.A., Machynlleth and Rhyl, before suffering relegation to Division Three for the 2011-12 season.
