On 6 September 2010, the renowned Irish rock band U2 gave a concert at the stadium which reportedly attracted 54,278 fans, as a part of their U2 360° Tour, the opening act of which was performed by the group Snow Patrol.

F.U.E.L. recorded a four-track session at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin for Radio 1 and in December 2000, they toured with Ash and Snow Patrol in Dublin, Cork, and Limerick.
They played at T in the Park, Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds festivals, the Pinkpop and London Calling, and also supported Snow Patrol on their Homecoming Ward Park date on 5 June 2010.
It should not be confused with a song of the same title, sometimes written as "Never Gonna Fall in Love (Again)" composed by Elton John and Tom Robinson, which Robinson issued as a single in 1979 and John included on his album 21 at 33 in 1980, or with the song from Snow Patrol's second album, When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up.
The band subsequently toured on the success of the single, this time with new guitarist Matt Platts, supporting other 1990s UK indie bands including Rachel Stamp, Jolt, Snow Patrol, Monsoon Bassoon, Cay and Seafood.
His first creations were tech trance singles "Make Me Scream" and "Slipping Away" on the Terminal 4 label, but his real success started with remixes of Tiësto singles "Lethal Industry", "Flight 643" and "Break My Fall", and reworks of The Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" and Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" which brought him into the playlist of DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules and Eddie Halliwell.
As part of their opening launch in 2008, ShockHound offered free concerts by No Age, Titus Andronicus and Snow Patrol, to users in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and San Diego.

The last few years have seen the band tour extensively throughout the UK, performing both as headlining artists and as support of several major acts such as Snow Patrol, Elbow, Idlewild, Brakes, Aberfeldy and Gorky's Zygotic Mynci.
It was released on 19 February 2011 and went on to become the most played Irish song on radio that year, beating rivals Westlife, The Script and Snow Patrol.
Snow Patrol played "Chasing Cars" on an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Guests included the band, past Snow Patrol collaborator and band mate Iain Archer and singer Declan O'Rourke.
He also featured on Iain Archer's album Flood The Tanks and Cut La Roc's eponymous debut album, playing the song "Post Punk Progression" with Snow Patrol.
