In 2010 they released their debut album Four Elephants, recorded in Tornillo, Texas at Sonic Ranch Studios.
The album was recorded mostly by Reid Shippen at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas, with the exceptions of "Won't You Be My Love" and "All of Creation", which were recorded by Steve Bishir at Quad Studios.
The album was produced by Michael Gira and recorded by John Congleton at Sonic Ranch, the world's largest residential recording studio complex, in Tornillo, Texas, 30 miles from El Paso and at Congleton's studio in Dallas.
However, in mid-December 2009, they were to re-record the album at Sonic Ranch, one of the top five recording studios in the world, located in Tornillo, Texas.
Ivyrise signed a record deal in France with My Major Company/Warner in 2010 and went to Sonic Ranch in Texas with Jason Perry in February 2011 to record their first LP.
