Debitel

In October 2008 the company owned 500 outlets in Germany, marketing what are known in Germany as 'tariff-based' products under the debitel brand on behalf of network providers such as T-Mobile, E-Plus und

debitel also sold land-line services at this time for Deutsche Telekom's T-Home brand, Arcor, Telecom Italia) and Freenet.

Jajah

On 23 December 2009, it was announced that Jajah had been bought by Telefónica through its subsidiary Telefónica Europe.

Palm Pre

On July 7, 2009, Telefónica announced that they would exclusively carry the Palm Pre in the UK, Spain, Ireland and Germany on their O2 and Movistar networks, with availability "before the winter holidays".

Point Village

Following its closure, the site underwent major redevelopment and was renamed after O2.

SPB Software

SPB Software works with phone makers and mobile operators such as Huawei, HTC, Toshiba, (now Fujitsu), ZTE, Starhub, O2, K-Touch, Megafon, Acer Inc., HP, Nokia, MTS, Swisscom in various countries providing customized versions of its software and optimized applications and for particular devices.

Telefónica Europe

On 31 May 2005 Telefónica O2 acquired the name rights for the redeveloped Millennium Dome in London from Anschutz Entertainment Group.

In 2003 Telefónica O2 launched a mobile video service in that allowed customers to download or stream video content related to the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

The naming rights arrangements with Anschutz Entertainment Group also apply in Germany with large sport and concert venues known as O2 World in Berlin and Hamburg.

Hypertag

Hypertag also integrates its systems with third party infrastructure providers such as in-store advertising display screen providers and has been used by brands such as O2, Vodafone, Peugeot and CNN, and has installed systems at visitor attractions owned by the Royal Institution and English Heritage.
