In addition to the publication of short stories, poems, and essays, The Literary Review prides itself on publishing English translations of contemporary fiction from various countries around the world, often dedicating an entire issue to a single language (e.g. Japanese translations).

She is also a frequent lecturer at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. She founded and edited the literary review Wild About Wilde dedicated to the works of the nineteenth-century Irish writer, Oscar Wilde.
During the 1950s she lived in Paris, where she was associated with the group of expatriate writers who produced the literary review Merlin, among them Alexander Trocchi, Christopher Logue, George Plimpton and Richard Seaver.
Jack Lindeman’s nine-page 1959 article “The ‘Trench Poems’ of Isaac Rosenberg” in The Literary Review that cemented Rosenberg’s poetry in the minds of many readers.
