The stadium has also been used for concerts by System of a Down, Primus, Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta, The Black Eyed Peas, Green Day, Rammstein among others, and also hosted the concert of Faith No More's The Second Coming Tour after over 30,000 people signed an online petition for the band to close the tour in Chile.

The re-release was re-mastered by Pete Lyman from Infrasonic Sound Recordings (The Mars Volta, Bloc Party, The Locust) and features all new artwork which includes a 2 sided poster insert.


Counterfit

On these tours Counterfit played alongside such bands as Tsunami Bomb, Saves the Day, Hot Rod Circuit, New Found Glory, Superdrag, The Mars Volta, Recover, and Finch.

The Fall on Deaf Ears was a musical group from El Paso most notable for featuring Cedric Bixler-Zavala of At the Drive-In and The Mars Volta, who played drums, and Clint Newsom of Rhythm of Black Lines and The Hades Kick on guitar.

Examples of singles already released in the hybrid format are Paramore's "Misery Business", The Mars Volta's cover of "Candy and a Currant Bun", and Fightstar's "Deathcar" which reportedly had a limited run of 3000 copies.

Zavalaz

The roots of Zavalaz are found in Cedric Bixler-Zavala's solo project he started during the spare time from working on The Mars Volta's Noctourniquet: "It started off with me just having the courage to play my guitar again. My wife would listen to me play and be really encouraging".
