Agios Alexandros

The village probably took its name from Saint Alexander, the patron saint of Lemnos according to manuscripts of the 15th century.

Hellenic Navy

It is 1.5 km southwest of Nea Koutali, 1 km northeast of Portianou and 11 km east of Myrina.

The village was first mentioned as Repanidion in 1285 in a census record of the monastery Pteris, that was located near Tsimandria, southwestern Lemnos.
