In 1972, she was invited by Christoph von Dohnányi to make her debut as the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro at the Frankfurt Opera.
Larsson studied in Basel and since 1993 appeared in the Internationales Opernstudio of the Zurich Opera House under conductors such as Franz Welser-Möst, Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Christoph von Dohnányi.
As a soloist, she worked with many notable conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Sir Georg Solti, Bernard Haitink, Jean Fournet, Charles Groves, Brian Priestman, Colin Davis, Carlo Maria Giulini, Otto Ackermann, Erich Leinsdorf, Christoph von Dohnányi, and Charles Munch.
In 1975, Halász moved to Frankfurt and worked as principal Kapellmeister under Christoph von Dohnányi.

As a soloist, Gawriloff has played with many prestigious orchestras around the world, led by such conductors as Georg Solti, Pierre Boulez, Christoph von Dohnányi, Eliahu Inbal, Michael Gielen, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Markus Stenz, Peter Eötvös, Gary Bertini, and Alfred Schnittke.
During its long and venerable history, the orchestra has performed with such luminaries as Clemens Kraus, Hans Knappertsbusch, Sergiu Celibidache, Kurt Eichhorn, Vaclav Neumann, and Christoph von Dohnányi.
